First 4 disabilities is a non profit social enterprise company limited by guarantee, that offers a range of services to children, young people and their families with disabilities.

Vision and Values

F4D offers a range of services that aim to encourage physical and mental well-being by providing motivating, empowering, individualised programs that support the individual and families needs.
We aim to change attitudes and reduce physical and social barriers by providing exciting opportunities for all to take part as a whole community.
We believe that we all need help from time to time and families should not struggle to find safe, quality loving care for their child/children.
We believe that families and children have the right to be as independent as possible and enjoy a quality of life that makes them the most comfortable.

Child Safety

Your child/children's safety and your peace of mind is important to us so we provide a full screening process which includes all current child protection regulations. We work closely with the Local Safeguarding Board in order to provide a safe quality service and keep up to date with all new legislation.
 
All staff complete a full training program before undertaking any vacancy within F4D and must hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Certificate (CRB)

Quality Assurance

We are regulated and inspected by the registration body, Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI). We are members of United Kingdoms Home Care Association (UKHCA), who support us to maintain a high level of care for service users and staff.
 
We are registered with The Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) as part of their voluntary register system.
 
We regularly review our policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness of service. All policies and procedures are available to be viewed in the main office or a list of the available policies can be located on our website www.first4disabilities.co.uk
We welcome and encourage feedback from any individual with regard to our delivery of services and staff performance.
